A ONE-STOP-SHOP
Courtesy of the Alberta Diabetes Foundation
In the year 2006 any one affected by diabetes will have access to the “One-Stop-Shop” that is being built by the University of Alberta. The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, is constructing a new research and treatment facility at 87 Avenue and 114 Street, Edmonton. This facility will be called the Alberta Diabetes Institute (ADI) and will provide a treatment facility where diabetics can benefit from the most recent and advanced procedures in treating this disease. The Alberta Diabetes Foundation (ADF) will have a presence within the building once it is completed. The ADF looks forward to the opportunity to allow it’s donors, volunteers and participants to have much easier access to the cutting edge research taking place at the University of Alberta.
